Quick tip about Uniquely You dress forms…
If you are trying to attach your cover and are finding that the cords have been set into the foam a little lower than looks good or gives you the right shape, you can do a little foam surgery to get it right.
The cord is molded in place around the chrome pole that runs the length of the body. If you take a large serrated blade and carefully make an incision down the center, you can give yourself access to the pole. You will be able to move the cord up along it to center it better.
Be careful not to cut the cord with the knife, but otherwise it is a pretty straightforward procedure.
The foam flexes and stretches quite a bit, so don’t make the cut too long. When you have finished cutting to just past the point you want to move. It also has the benefit of defining the cleavage a little better, so we make the cut on anything over an A cup even if the placement is correct.
