Elaine was a student almost a decade ago, and yet the coffee date dress she drafted at the workrooms and put on the Burda website keeps coming back to us again and again. We are always charmed to see it and get a little nostalgic. Elaine was one of the students we had up here when we had just started with the other classroom.

The shape and cut are perfect for a simple 3-season wearable dress and a great way to test some of the patterns available online for the intermediate sewer.
Elyse did this as her first project and it came out great. We took care of some of the fitting issues through the back waist seam and were good to go.
